How do I claim through my private health fund?

We are pleased to provide invoices to assist your Private Health Insurance claims - we do not process these claims. See below for a step-by-step guide to check if this is possible for you.

Step 1: Check Your Cover

Before booking your appointment, we recommend confirming with your private health fund whether your policy covers some or all of the speech pathology fee. This can help you decide if you’d like to proceed, as coverage varies by plan. Please contact your private health fund to enquire about your coverage for the following items:

• Item 310 - Initial individual consultation/assessment.

• Item 340 - Subsequent individual consultation/assessment/treatment.

• Item 350 - Subsequent individual extended consultation/assessment/treatment.

Step 2: Receive Your Invoice

After your visit, we’ll provide you with a detailed invoice that includes all the necessary details for your claim.

Step 3: Submit the Invoice

You can typically submit your invoice through your health fund’s app, website, or by visiting their office. The process is often quick and straightforward.

Step 4: Receive Reimbursement 

Once processed, and if you are eligible, your health fund will reimburse you according to your policy.
